STORYMAKERS: CREATIVE WRITING
A playful, imaginative workshop where pupils invent, explore and bring their own stories to life.
Mr Fied is a collector. But not just any collector — he collects stories.
For 50 years, he has travelled the world on his motorbike, his battered suitcase strapped into a sidecar, gathering weird and wonderful tales from the people he meets along the way. Stories of adventure, mystery, love and laughter — the kind of stories that stay with you long after they’re told.
But on his most recent journey, he discovered something troubling: grown-ups have stopped telling stories.
They say they are too busy for adventures.
Mr Fied has decided to take action.
He is searching for a new generation of storytellers — and he believes he’s found them.
In this imaginative and engaging workshop, pupils step into the role of storytellers, diving into their own ideas and bringing them to life. Through a series of playful, structured activities, they explore how to create characters, shape plots and build vivid, engaging worlds.
The focus is on creativity, imagination and confidence — helping pupils feel that their ideas matter and that they have the tools to turn them into brilliant stories.
