SpAG KITCHEN!

A fun, fast-paced workshop where pupils explore spelling, punctuation and grammar through creative roleplay.

It’s a busy day in the restaurant.

The head chef and his team are cooking up a storm, inventing brand new dishes for their hungry customers. Every recipe needs to be written down clearly so it can be used again — but there’s a problem.

The chef works so quickly that he forgets to check his spelling… and his punctuation is all over the place!

The kitchen is in chaos.

It’s up to the pupils to step in and bring some order.

In this playful and imaginative workshop, pupils enter the world of the SPaG Kitchen, taking on a series of creative challenges to help fix the chef’s recipes. They might dip a ladle into the spelling spaghetti, chew on some grammar granola or try a slice of punctuation pie — all while developing their understanding of key SPaG concepts.

Through games, role play and hands-on activities, pupils build confidence with spelling, punctuation and grammar in a way that is memorable, engaging and fun.
