An imaginative, immersive workshop where pupils leap into the pages of a story and step into the shoes of its characters.
What if you could step right into the pages of a story?
In this playful and imaginative workshop, pupils are invited to do exactly that — diving into the worlds of well-loved books and exploring them from the inside.
Through a fast-paced mix of drama, roleplay and creative tasks, pupils step into the shoes of characters, move through story settings and experience key moments as if they were really there.
Whether wandering through mysterious forests, stepping into magical worlds or finding themselves at the centre of an unfolding adventure, pupils are encouraged to explore, imagine and respond in the moment.
The focus is on curiosity, creativity and immersion — helping pupils connect more deeply with stories by experiencing them through imaginative play.

Suitable for KS1 and KS2, with activities adapted to suit the age, stage and needs of each group.
The workshop is particularly effective for engaging younger pupils and bringing stories to life in an accessible, imaginative way.
HOW IT WORKS
Led by experienced ACTivate facilitators, the workshop is highly interactive and designed to build confidence through creativity and play.
Pupils are guided through a series of structured but imaginative activities, allowing them to explore stories in a way that feels natural, engaging and accessible.
The emphasis is on participation and immersion, creating a supportive environment where pupils feel comfortable taking part and using their imagination.

Half-day workshop
• Up to 3 hours (flexible to fit your school day)

• Multiple facilitators can work with groups simultaneously where needed
