POETRY SAFARI!
An imaginative journey into the jungle where pupils explore poetry through performance, sound and creative discovery.
Pack your binoculars and grab your butterfly net — we’re going on a poetry safari.
Guided by ACTivate facilitators, pupils set off on an interactive journey of discovery, transforming into poetry explorers on an intrepid expedition.
Using sound, music, movement and roleplay, they venture into a world of rare creatures and extraordinary environments. Along the way, they might encounter the mighty Rhymenocerous, spot the colourful Onomatopeacocks or tread carefully through the treacherous Simile Swamp, home to the snapping Alliteration Alligators.
Through imaginative challenges and playful exploration, pupils discover how language works, experimenting with rhythm, sound and imagery as they bring poetry to life.
